Ten questions, answered at the top
Every article here opens with the direct answer and argues it underneath, because you should not have to read nine paragraphs to find out whether Herzing refunds tuition. It does not, incidentally.

Is Herzing University legit?Yes, and the accreditation detail is more specific than most people expect. The real question is whether it is worth its price.→What you need to get inThe hard gate is an unrestricted RN licence in your state of residence, or a compact licence.→How long it takes working full timeFive semesters on paper. Plan against the upper half of the published 16 to 32 month range.→If you cannot find a preceptorHerzing says it will step in and secure one. What that obliges, and what it never puts in writing.→When to start the placement processSemester one, not semester three. Working the calendar backwards from the practicum term.→Does Herzing accept transfer credit? The only lever that genuinely reduces the bill, because pace cannot. Worth more than $2,000 per three credits.→Six start dates a year, and the catchA short runway is convenient, and it is how nurses enrol before settling the placement question.→Is the programme hard? The coursework is conventional. Placement and sustaining pace around shift work are what defeat people.→Does it matter that Herzing has campuses?Yes, in one specific way: CCNE accreditation is stated per campus, and graduate nursing runs through Madison.→How nurses actually pay for itTransfer credit and employer assistance are the two levers. Everything else is financing, not saving.→
